The commitee has decided to establish a resting area on stage 1 in Gubbhögen app. 80 km after the start. The resting area wil only provide water and straw for the teams. Handlers are not allowed in the resting area and there is no depot or other services. There will be an official from race organisation at the resting area.
As the resting area isn’t a checkpoint, the racetime will continue even if the team chooses to rest.
Race rules are updated at § 8, 9 and 10 due to the resting area.
