The leading dog teams deserve a lot of attention and are worthy of our admiration, as well as the mushers with less experience of long distance races who are really doing their best to get to the finish line.

French musher Gilles Demeu was the last one to reach checkpoint Norråker 2 and we hope he shows the same good mood now as he did while registrating last Thursday! Since he considers Amundsen Race to be the best race there is, let’s cheer him up all the way to the finish!
