AR2025: Welcome Marion Joly. 🐾🐺

Marion has signed up for AR250-12, a rookie distance for her, for the club Lag 42 Sollefteå and for Vertaco mushing Club under the kennel name "Jam's band" with their Alaskan Huskys.

She already did Polardistans 300, Femundløpet 200, Vildmarkracet and in 2022 Amundsen Race AR170, where she came in 5th place.

Amundsen Race starts in less than 50 days on Feb 21st in Strömsund, Jämtland - Sweden.

Lukas did the Amundsen Race in 2022 and 2023 but for AR2025 he starts as Rookie for AR250-12 for Norråker IF under his kennel name @snowdragonshuskies . (RNB)

He is a animal assisted life coach and does mushing since 16 years with 23 Siberian Huskies at home at the moment. Apart from that Lukas enjoys biking, gardening and beekeeping.

Why Long Distance? Because he enjoys the time with his dogs in the nature. 🐾🐺

Rookie musher at Amundsen Race Josquin signed up for AR180-8, with the experience of Vildmarkracet 120 and Femundlopet 200. He runs for Comite Du Mont Blanc Sled Dog Club with his Siberian Husky (RNB).

He is into mushing since 16 years and his race strategy: "be cool, be happy, and finish with a big smile."

We can announce that Amundsen Race 2025 will be meritorious competition (meaning one of the qualification races eligible for becoming Swedish working dog champion) for SH in all classes, i.e. AR180, AR250 and AR350.
