Deep in the Swedish countryside, where winter still feels wild and untouched, I got to experience something truly special: the Amundsen Sled Dog Race. From the very first moment in Strömsund to the breathtaking finish line in Fjällsikten.

I followed the mushers and their incredible dogs with my camera as they took on this challenging journey through Sweden’s frozen wilderness. Sled dog racing isn’t just a sport – it’s a way of life. It’s about passion, endurance, and the unbreakable bond between human and dog. Standing at the start line, feeling the energy of the dogs, watching them disappear into the vast northern landscape, and capturing it all with my camera and drone… this was an adventure like no other.
