Information about the Pre-Race vet check.

All dogs entering Amundsen Race must be examined by a veterinary before race start.

This can de done for free during the veterinary check in Strömsund on Thursday by the Amundsen Race Veterinarian team.

The veterinary check can also be done BEFORE you arrive in Strömsund, either at the vet you usually use or another vet. If you are on a longer trip to take part in Amundsen Race make sure that the certificate is not older than 14 days when you check in at the Race Office in Strömsund.

When registering at Strömsund, a veterinary certificate no older than 14 days must be submitted stating that all the dogs have been examined.

The form below must be taken to the vet who performs the Pre-Race vet check, if you choose to have the examination done by your own veterinarian, instead of coming to the Amundsen pre-race vet check. It must be filled in and brought to the race as documentation of a completed check.
