Exciting 12 dog team class
The fastest teams in the 12 dog team class are now resting at the checkpoint Norråker 2 before going out on the last stretch of the race leading back to Strömsund, which is 103 km long. An exciting finish awaits! French musher Daniel Juillaguet will be the first one allowed to leave the checkpoint

Update on the GPS tracking
After several attempts and contact with the producer of the system we are not able to get the trackers working for all the mushers. During the evening we have tested the reserv trackers (app. 20 pieces) and only 5 of them were working. We ran a test on thursday and got connection and okay on [&helli

News from Gubbhögen
The first teams have now arrived and left Gubbhögen. Spanish musher Salva Luque was the first one to arrive at 22.55, followed by French musher Daniel Juillaguet and Bernhard Klammer who competes for Finland. Swedish musher Håkan Nisula is there right now.
Wilderness checkpoint in Gubbhögen
Here in Gubbhögen, about 85 km into the race, a wilderness checkpoint has been set up so the dog team can stop for a while and have a rest before continuing towards the second checkpoint, which is 35 km away, at Norråker Park. As only water and straw are provided at the wilderness checkpoint and [

Right now several of the GPS trackars havn’t contact, we’re working to solve it. All teams started as planed and they are on trail to Gubbhögen. Result will be updated during the race.
